Chicago LEAD is inviting organizations to submit a real project for a future student team. Over ten weeks, students from universities across the Chicago area work with a company sponsor, faculty mentors, and the people who understand the problem best.
What makes a good project?
The strongest projects begin with a problem that matters to the organization and can be explored within a ten-week engagement. A submission should include:
- A clearly identified business or operational problem.
- Access to the relevant data, systems, or subject-matter expertise.
- A company stakeholder who can meet with the team throughout the project.
Projects may involve data science, generative AI, computer vision, automation, or another approach that fits the problem. The team works with the sponsor to shape the scope before the project begins.
